Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India

Shah Jahan’s last architectural extravagance, the Jama Masjid towers over Old Delhi and is India’s largest mosque. Jama Masjid rivals the grandeur of the neighboring Red Fort in its scale and beauty. The aesthetic use of white marble and red sandstone, it is easily one of the prettiest Mughal-era mosques in India. The whole structure exudes peace and harmony. The south minaret evidences the swarms of pigeons, in contrast to the chaotic yet colorful commercial street of Old Delhi.

Stop At: Chandni Chowk, Near Red Fort, New Delhi 110006 India

Explore the bustling streets on foot and, rickshaw ride leading your way to Khari Baoli. It is a street in Old Delhi as Asia's largest wholesale spice market selling all kinds of spices, nuts, herbs and food products like rice and tea. We will also enjoy a rickshaw ride through Chandani Chowk, one of the oldest shopping streets of Delhi. Chandani Chowk is the perfect blend of history, culture, and vivacity of the city.

The India Gate originally the All India War Memorial is a war memorial located on Rajpath, on the eastern edge of New Delhi, formerly called Kingsway. It stands as a memorial to 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died between 1914–1921 in the First World War.13,300 servicemen's names, including some soldiers and officers from the United Kingdom, are inscribed on the gate.

Rashtrapati Bhavan is previously known as "Viceroy's House" is the official home of the President of India located at the Western end of Rajpath in New Delhi, India. Rashtrapati Bhavan may refer to only the 340-room main building that has the president's official residence, including reception halls, guest rooms, and offices, also called the mansion.

Designated a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), is a 60-meter long and 15-meter wide historical step well on Hailey Road, near Connaught Place, in New Delhi. Although there are no known historical records to prove who built Agrasen ki Baoli, it is believed that it was originally built by the legendary king Agrasen, architecture hints at it being rebuilt in the 13-14th century during the Tughlag period of Delhi Sultanate

Purana Qila in Delhi built by the Sher Shah Suri, the Old Fort holds to be one of the oldest forts of India. One must visit Old Forty if you want to experience the charm of ancient ruins. During the Partition of India, in August 1947 the Purana Qila along with the neighboring Humayun's Tomb became the site for refugee camps for Muslims migrating to newly founded Pakistan.

Feroz Shah built the fort and the city because there was a problem in water supply in his previous capital Tughlaqabad. Many other monuments were constructed in the fort-like mosques, palaces, and madrasas, beautiful gardens. On Thursdays, many locals can be sighted appeasing the jinns and the spirits that are said to reside there, by lighting candles, incense sticks and offering milk and grains. For the lovers of history, who are passionate about ancient architectures and dynasties, this place has enough archaeological importance. Visit the fort for a stupendous insight into history!
