Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL DELHI

Pass By: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
Garlanding on arrival with meeting and assistance at the airport. Our representative will meet to welcome and escort you by a private chauffeur driven transport to the Hotel. Whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative will also hand over the “Welcome Folder” documents and brief you the tour programme.

Day 2: IN DELHI

Stop At: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
After breakfast, start the city tour of Old & New Delhi visiting Raj Ghat (where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated); Red Fort (made famous by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan); and Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in India) which has three great gateways, four angle towers and two minarets constructed of alternating vertical strips of red sandstone and white marble. Chandni Chowk is the main street of Old Delhi is the colorful shopping bazaar. Next up is Laxminarayan Temple, a site dedicated to Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and good fortune. India Gate is a 42 meter high stone of triumph and is a war memorial. The tour continues with a visit to Rashtrapati Bhawan, the palace-like building home to the President of India. Afterward visit the beautiful Lotus Temple, also known as the Bahai Temple. Adherents of any faith can visit, pray or meditate.
Today we also take the opportunity ride on a traditional rickshaw!

Day 3: DELHI - AGRA

Stop At: Agra, Agra, Agra District, Uttar Pradesh
After breakfast depart for Agra (approx. 233 Kms, 4-hour journey).
Upon arrival check-in at the Hotel.
Agra is the quintessential Mughal City, where the world marvels at the epitome of love, beauty, and sacrifice, The Taj-Mahal one of the wonders of the world. So overwhelming is the magic monument, that Agra has been immortalized, as the City of the Taj. As visitors walk down the narrow bustling streets, they cannot help but wonder, if the man contentedly smoking a hookah, is a direct descendent of some bygone Mughal.
Afternoon start city tour visiting the Taj Mahal. Built by the Mughul Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Besides the Taj, the Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort) is a stunning sight. Besides the historical monuments, one can also explore Agra’s rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets.

Day 4: AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - JAIPUR

Stop At: Fatehpur Sikri, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra District, Uttar Pradesh
After breakfast depart for Jaipur (approx. 265 Kms, 6-hour journey).
En-route we visit Fatehpur Sikri, made a UNESCO world heritage site due to its stunning imperial complex of pavilions and palaces spread amongst a large abandoned 'city' (37kms from Agra).

Pass By: Jaipur, Jaipur, Jaipur District, Rajasthan
Continue to drive to Jaipur, upon arrival check-in at the Hotel, for the evening. The picturesque capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is instantly recognizable for its pink-washed buildings, a color associated with hospitality in Rajput culture. This beautiful city, along with Agra and Delhi, forms what is known as the Golden Triangle of India's tourist circuit. Jaipur is a city where royalty still lives in the grandeur of its palaces, where fighting for the honor of the clan has never been a need but a way of life, and where treating guests as gods has been a tradition from time immemorial. There is a timeless appeal to Jaipur's colorful bazaars, where you can shop for Rajasthani textiles and trinkets. The beautifully laid out gardens and parks, attractive monuments, and heritage hotels, once the residence of Maharajas, are all worth a look.

Day 5: IN JAIPUR

Stop At: Jaipur, Jaipur, Jaipur District, Rajasthan
Today enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur - the picturesque capital of Rajasthan. To start off take a morning excursion to Amber Fort. Amber Fort is located 11km from Jaipur and was the old fort of the Kachwaha clan of Amber. The fort is built with white marble and red sandstone and looks even more attractive because of the Maota Lake in the foreground. The fort in itself is a beautiful sight to behold, but its clear reflection on the lake is so beautiful, it seems like an illusion.
This afternoon take part in a city tour visiting the City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch royal processions without being seen. Also, visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple.

Day 6: JAIPUR - PUSHKAR

Pass By: Pushkar, Pushkar, Ajmer District, Rajasthan
After breakfast depart for Pushkar (approx. 150 Kms, 3-hour journey). Upon arrival check-in at the
Hotel Pushkar Fort.
Pushkar is characterized by a picturesque valley, mountainous regions, uncommon scenic spots and several pilgrimage sites of importance. It has one of the most revered Hindu pilgrimage sites of India and houses the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the world. The flow of tourists to Pushkar increases during the time of the camel fair in November. The locals are very hospitable, dressing up with their best during this much-awaited event. Their colorful veils, turbaned heads, and colorfully dyed skirts, with the sounds of the ektara and Rajasthani folk songs, make the nights of the Pushkar equally pleasing.

Day 7: IN PUSHKAR

Stop At: Pushkar, Pushkar, Ajmer District, Rajasthan
After breakfast starts your tour of Pushkar visiting the Brahma temple, beautifully painted in shades of blue and red and was constructed using marble and stone slabs. It is believed to be almost 2,000 years old. Also visit the Pushkar lake, surrounded by almost 500 big and small temples, a parikrama of Pushkar Lake is believed to redeem your sins. The lake has 52 ghats, each of which was once the personal ghats for the 52 maharajas of Rajasthan who performed sacred rituals here. Walkthrough the narrow lanes of the town to see the buzzing street market and crafts.

Day 8: PUSHKAR - DELHI
