Agra red fort has been significant for almost four centuries now, Mughal ruled the glorious year in Indian history from here then followed by British Raj & presently by Indian armed forces. You will be guided across the fort and know about the Mughal administration and get a peek into the Royal family.

Pearl mosque is one of the best monuments inside Red fort, unfortunately, the entry to it is restricted as to its under the Indian army.

Stop At: Jama Masjid Rd Opp. Agra Fort, Agra 282003 India

. In between bustling streets you can spot the Jama masjid, The Mosque was built by Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan's daughter in 1648 A.D. Jahanara Begum. The mosque is constructed of red sandstone with intricate white marble decorations. The walls and ceilings of the mosque are painted blue in color.

Stop At: Tomb of Akbar the Great, 282007 India

The Mughal Empire was at its peak under the Emperor Akbar The great, there are few kings from the Indian history who has the impact as great as Akbar. This monument is spread across 119 acres most of which is open ground. The Tomb was planned by Akbar himself which was later completed by his son, Jahangir. You can spot animals like deer, peacock, rabbits etc in the open area. The monument is another architecture feat of Mughal construction.

Stop At: Dayalbagh, Agra, 9, New Radha Nagar Rd, New Radha Nagar, Balkeshwar Colony, Kamla Nagar, Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282004, India

Dayalbagh means ‘Gardens of merciful’ and is a religious site for Radhasoami faith, The 110 feet high memorial is a combination of temple, gurudwara, vihara and mosque. The memorial is made of pure white marble and features numerous pillars and fine pietra dura inlay work on the inner walls. This building has been continuously under construction for the past 113 years.

Stop At: Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, Yamuna River, Agra 282001 India

Itimad-Ud-Daulah is the considered the inspiration for the wonder of the world The Taj Mahal. Over the years, it became famous as the Baby Taj, however, the monument is a more delicate artwork with marble lattice screens and fine carvings. This is one of the least crowded places in Agra, but the visit here is worthwhile, one can spend some leisure time in the gardens surrounding the monument.

Stop At: Mehtab Bagh, Nagla Devjit Etmadpur, Agra India

We have specifically included Mehtab Bagh in the end as to give travelers another glimpse of Taj at the time of sunset. The view of The Taj Mahal from here is surreal, where you can white Taj in saffron lit twilight sky, and the magnificent reflection of Taj in the Yamuna river. Considered to be the site for the Black Taj Mahal, whose construction never saw the light of the day due to rift in the Royal Family, later it was converted to the gardens, this is the last garden of the mughal era in Agra
