RIDE THE VERDON Discovery SESSION

The descent by the river in the Canyon du Verdon offers an unusual panorama of this site out of the ordinary.
Because of the verticality, the walker does not reach the areas we are going to discover, and the descent requires specific support both for security reasons (siphons), and avoid trampling protected areas (presence of many species endemic on the site, which makes all its richness).

Itinerary

Let's explore the Verdon with the "Ride the Verdon Sessions"

In May, June and September, the EDF dam controlling the flow of the river in the Gorges du Verdon informs us of the upcoming flow over the next 24 hours.
EVERY DAY AN ACTIVITY IS POSSIBLE, and is determined according to the water levels.

So we determine the "Ride the Verdon Sessions" program with you on D-Day:

- IF THE FLOW IS INCLUDED BETWEEN 0 and 5 m3 water / s, WE WILL LOOK ON THE AQUA TREKKING COURSE.

AQUA TREKKING is an activity that subtly mixes hiking, swimming and jumping.
Rest assured: jumps are not mandatory: the most timid can stay in the river to encourage others!
 This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful way to discover the gorges du Verdon

-I THE FLOW IS SUPERIOR TO 5 m3 water / s, WE RIVE ON THE COURSE OF RAFTING

RAFTING is a fun but safe water activity. It is the PERFECT activity to live with your family with young children, or in a group when not everyone is hyper sports!
