Observe the Nuuksio National Park forests and lakes during this nice nature adventure. This guided excursion contains two parts: first there’s a canoe trip on the calm Hawk Lake, followed by an easy walk through the lush green forest. Fill your lungs with fresh air and enjoy the beautiful sights.

The canoeing session on the Hawk Lake is sheltered from winds by the steep slopes and rocks surrounding the lake. The lake is small and the paddling distance not long. Our canoes are stable, and each can fit two people. Once the other end of the lake has been reached, you will climb up a steep hillside and enjoy the great views over the National Park.

After a short break you will be guided into the forest. This guided walk follows marked trails and the pace is easy – suitable for everyone. Halfway down the tour a delicious sandwich and a hot drink are waiting by the lakeside.

The Nuuksio Canoe & Hike Adventure includes transport back and forth from downtown Helsinki.

Itinerary

Nuuksio National Park is located just 30 - 40 minutes from the city center of Helsinki. It is full of small lakes and beautiful boreal forest. Nature at its finest!
