Day 4 After Breakfast Full days visit the castle and churches in Gondar previously served as the capital of both the Ethiopian Empire and the subsequent Begemder Province. The city holds the remains of several royal castles, including those in Fasil Ghebbi (Royal Enclosure), for which Gondar is called "Camelot of Africa".Gondar was founded by Emperor Fasilides around the year 1635 and grew as an agricultural and market town. Debre Berhan was founded by Emperor Zara Yaqob, in response to a miraculous light that was seen in the sky at the time. Believing this was a sign from God showing his approval for the death by stoning of a group of heretics 38 days before, the emperor ordered a church built on the site, and later constructed an extensive palace nearby, and a second church, dedicated to Saint Cyriacus. Zara Yaqob spent 12 of the last 14 years of his life in Debre Berha overnight hotel

Day 5 After Breakfast fly to Axum one of our staff will meet you at Axum airport and proceed to the hotel after check-in visit Axum, was the center of the marine trading power known as the Aksumite Kingdom, which predated the earliest mentions in Roman era writings. Around 356 CE, its ruler was converted to Christianity by Frumentius. The Kingdom of Axum had its own written language, Ge'ez, and developed a distinctive architecture exemplified by giant obelisks, the oldest of which (though much smaller) date from 5000–2000 BC. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church claims that the Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion in Axum houses the Biblical Ark of the Covenant the ruins of the ancient city of Aksum are found close to Ethiopia's northern border. They mark the location of the heart of ancient Ethiopia when the Kingdom of Aksum was the most powerful state between the Eastern Roman Empire and Persia. The massive ruins, dating from between the 1st and the 13th century A.D., include monolithic obelisks, giant Stella, royal tombs and the ruins of ancient castles. Long after its political decline in the 10th century, Ethiopian emperors continued to be crowned in Aksum. Overnight hotel.

Day 6 After Breakfast we will drive to the airport fly to Lalibela, one of our staff will meet you at the airport and proceed to the hotel check-in we will visit the first group of the church. The 11 medieval monolithic cave churches of this 13th-century 'New Jerusalem' are situated in a mountainous region in the heart of Ethiopia near a traditional village with circular-shaped dwellings. Day 7 After Breakfast mornings visit the second group of the church located in the south of the river, Biete Amanuel (House of Emmanuel), Biete Qeddus Mercoreus (House of St. Mercoreos), Biete Abba Libanos (House of Abbot Libanos), Biete Gabriel Raphael (House of Gabriel Raphael), and Biete Lehem (House of Holy Bread) The eleventh church, Biete Ghiorgis (House of St. George), is isolated from the others, but connected by a system of trenches. Day 8: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru Pick up from your Nairobi Hotel early morning at 7:00 am. Drive to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch and check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake often referred so due to Great masses of Flamingos not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hill Tented Camp or saliva lion hill. Full Board accommodation too. Lake Nakuru in Kenya is home to some of the world's most majestic wildlife: lions, rhinos, zebras and hundreds of bird species - including flamingos that famously blush the water pink when they gather in numbers. Lake Nakuru houses Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and one of the largest concentrations of black rhinoceros in the world a large population of white rhino. The park features the picturesque Malaika Waterfalls. Also, of interest is an area of 188 km around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes. Among predators are a lion, leopard, and large pythons hiding in the dense woodlands which may occasionally be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees. Others game include Thomson’s and Grant gazelle, the long-eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, and waterbuck; Impala, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wildcat, reedbuck and golden cat. Day 9: Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave, Lake Nakuru for Masai mara arriving in time for lunch. Check-in Masai mara spa lodge and have lunch. Afternoon game drives through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, and Buffalo. Dinner and overnight at Masai mara Sopa lodge or Simba Lodge or Sentrim Luxury Tented Camp The Mara is magnificent, home to Kenya's richest concentration of wildlife, and regarded by many travelers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa. Day 11: Masai Mara - Nairobi. Early Morning breakfast at your camp checks out of the camp and park. Maasai Mara National Reserve (MMNR) covers some 1,510 km2 (583 sq mi)in south-western Kenya. It is the northernmost section of the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, which covers some 25,000 km2 (9,700 sq mi) in Tanzania and Kenya. It is bounded by the Serengeti Park to the south, the Siria escarpment to the west, and Maasai pastoral ranches to the north, east, and west. Rainfall in the ecosystem increases markedly along a southeast-northwest gradient, varies in space and time, and is markedly bimodal. The Sand, Talek River, and Mara River are the major rivers draining the reserve. Shrubs and trees fringe most drainage lines and cover hill slopes and hilltops. Drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Lunch at carnivore afterward drops off at your respective hotel. Overnight hotel

Day 12, Fly to Tanzania Arrival at the Kilimanjaro airport (Tanzania) The Kilimanjaro Airport, named after Mount Kilimanjaro, is an international airport, strategically located in northern Tanzania. It serves all major international airlines from around the world, and it’s close to Mount Kilimanjaro, the town of Moshi and Arusha City- a tourist hub to all famous national parks in Northern Tanzania: Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. On arrival, you will be met by our driver/guide and taken to your hotel in Arusha City (drive time up to 1 hour); spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight camp /Lodge

Day 13, Arusha/Tarangire National Park Early after Breakfast, leave the hotel and start the journey to the Tarangire National Park; drive time about 1.5 hours. Tarangire (size 2,600 square km) is a fantastic park to begin a Safari in northern Tanzania. In the dry month of June-October, thousands of animals congregated on Tarangire River to get a good supply of water but also plenty of predators hang around to pray. Tarangire is famous for its large herds of elephant and its many gigantic baobab trees and displays many of the large African mammals. Typical animals present in Tarangire include wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland. On this day, you will spot some of these animals.At lunchtime, relax by the Tarangire River and enjoy your lunch and the scenic view. Later transfer to Lake Manyara for Dinner and overnight. Day 14, Lake Manyara National Park:Wake up for early breakfast and start half day game viewing in the park. Lake Manyara, although small compared to Tarangire, has diverse plants and animals such as lions, giraffe, an elephant. The dense woodlands in the park conceal leopards, monkeys, baboons and some 380 species of birds. The highlights of Lake Manyara include a welcome by baboons and elephants as you enter the Manyara park gate but also sightings of the renowned tree-climbing lions. Afternoon, leave Manyara for Serengeti.overnight camp/ lodge

Day 15, Lake Manyara/Serengeti National Park: Serengeti is the highlight and dream of many tourists visiting Northern Tanzania. It's size 5,700 square miles holds many surprises endless plain which offers exquisite scenery, and a high concentration of diverse animals. Wake up for breakfast followed by a full day game drive with packed lunch. You will be taken through the Savannah, protruding rocks, bush streams, rivers, swamps and a wonderful selection of birds and animals including the BIG FIVE-5. Big five refers to The African Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant, and Buffalo. Serengeti is also known for its 'great migration' herds of wildebeest and zebra. Great migration refers to the time of the year when Wildebeest and Zebra congregate and move in great number, ready to cross the Grumeti River while being followed by predators. It’s a survival of the fittest as an exodus of animals meet predators in and around the river as they try to cross to the other side. If you’re lucky you will have a rare opportunity to witness this wonders of Africa as well as spotting endangered species such as black rhino. End of your full day game drive, return to the hotel for Dinner and overnight. Hotel
