At Czech monuments there are professional guides provided by the monument administration for the best experience.

For the road you can choose between two options:

On the way, you will be able to ask your buddy about anything you are interested in.

Private excursion with the written description and local guides at monuments.

Written description will provide basic information about the trip, sights and history of the country.

At 9am get picked up from your centrally located Prague hotel and get ready to escape the hustle and bustle of the city on this 10-hour private tour to Central Bohemia. Hop into the air-conditioned minivan and enjoy the scenery as you travel around 30 miles (50 kilometers) to the Protected Landscape Area of Český Kras.

Go underground and explore the longest cave system in Bohemia, making time to admire the Roses of Koněprusy, a collection of important archaeological finds and a hidden forgers‘ workshop discovered in 1950. Among the caves’ treasures are the “mint“ where the silver Hussite pennies with Czech lion emblem were forged from copper and amalgam.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before driving to the mining district of Březová Hora to see the baroque Svatá Hora shrine, a National Cultural Monument, in the town of Příbram. Learn about ore mining in the area since the 16th century and the great revolutions of the 19th century when the amount of ore mined accounted for 90 percent of the Habsburg state.

See old steam machines from the 19th century, a water wheel that measures 40.7 feet (12.4 meters) in diameter, and a mining shaft that’s 5,249 feet (1,600 meters) deep. End with a visit to the picturesque twin castles of Žebrák and Točník, founded in the second half of the 13th century, and second half of the 14th century respectively, before returning to Prague for a drop off back at your hotel between 6 and 7pm.
