First of all, the plate will not be served in front of you, you – yourself will make it. Little before lunch time you will arrive at the tavern in Konavle which is an area that still nourishes the ‘old ways’ in any way possible. Ladies who will be cooking with you will greet you with homemade brandies, however do not get too attached to being served as you will be doing all the work if you wish to taste a sample of their tradition. Start cooking!

The ladies will be happy to show you all you need to do to get to the point where you will have your plate full in front of you. ‘Peka’ is not only a meal, but the way of preparation which is different than anything experienced.

Meat and potatoes all together with all sorts of spices from the gardens of Konavle put under the bell. You will have time to relax and now enjoy ether homemade brandies or one of plenty different sorts of wine. Once the meal is done, you will serve it for yourself and start degusting your own hands work done.
