Lost City is a place full of ancestral magic, with a very demanding walk, made for the brave, in which you can appreciate the customs of the peasant families, the history that surrounds this region, have the opportunity to share with spiritual leaders and take from their hands a protection bracelet, know their customs and history all accompanied by expert guides who accompany you and provide all the security and experience acquired in more than 8 years of experience. To reach the Lost City, a series of contributions must be made to the communities of the area, peasants and indigenous people, who are responsible for maintaining peace and harmony in this ancestral place.

Itinerary

Day 1: Santa Marta- El Mamey- Alfredo's Cabin

Stop At: Ciudad Perdida, El Mamey Sierra Nevada, Santa Marta 470007 Colombia
9.00 AM: Our guide, Sergio Higuita, makes recommendations before starting the first day's tour.

Day 2: Cabaña de Alfredo- Cabaña Paraiso Teyuna

Stop At: Ciudad Perdida, El Mamey Sierra Nevada, Santa Marta 470007 Colombia
Day 2: All travelers are awakened at 5:30 am to be ready at 6:00 am, a walk begins along the path to leave the peasant region and reach the indigenous shelter where there is a 30-minute climb to reach a point called Matacafe, at this point fruits are offered and information. There, the entire mountain range is taken, finally arriving at the Wiwa hut, on this path it is shared with the two communities, with the Wiwa tribe and the Koguí tribe. There you have lunch and enjoy the Buritaca River. Information given by the same natives is also provided in the company of their guide. At 1 noon you leave this place starting a walk of 4 hours and a half with the technical stops, on this walk you pass through the Kogui village where information is provided from the community and we enjoy a path populated and preserved by the indigenous communities It goes to a place called Koskunguena after a 1-hour trail climb, there we offer fruits and information about the first town made by the Koguis, from this place we are only 1 hour and 40 minutes from the Paraiso hut where it will be the Next break The whole path to get to Paraiso's hut is very populated and “the banana plantations” are crossed. The river is crossed and finally it reaches Paraiso, it offers us natural swimming pools that the Buritaca River offers us and there they are given dinner and I have information that it will take place the next day, the visit to the Lost City.

Day 3: Paradise Cabin- Lost City- Wiwa Cabin

Stop At: Ciudad Perdida, El Mamey Sierra Nevada, Santa Marta 470007 Colombia
Day 3: They all wake up at 5 am and leave at 6 am for the Lost City, during this tour they don't carry their bags, just camera, repellent, bathing suit, sunscreen and their money. The journey to reach the Lost City from Paraiso is only one hour and the walk is along the river, the river is crossed and about 1200 stone steps built by the Tayrona are climbed until you reach the Lost City. At this point all the general information begins, who created the Temple of the Lost City, why they created it, why they left and who found it. This tour lasts approximately 4 hours enjoying a natural pool called “the pool of youth”. Day 4: Wiwa Cabin- Alfredo Cabin- Santa Marta

Day 4: wake up at 5:30 a.m. and start the walk at 6:15 a.m. When you leave this cabin you start up one hour and at the end the mountain range that is about 40 minutes, 30 down and 10 flat to the Alfredo camp, there you receive a snack and fruits and why not swim in the natural pool of this field. We start the hike again at 10 in the morning going up 30 minutes, then about 40 along the mountain range and 1 hour down to the village of El Mamey, where our lunch awaits us at 12:00 m. There lies a little where the car is waiting to finally return to Santa Marta where it will be arriving at 4:30 pm, we leave them in each of the places where they were collected.
