2 Days Xian Small Group Tour: Terracotta Army and City Sightseeing

As the hometown of Terracotta Warriors, Xian is the must-visit city of many tourists’ first or second trip to China. And as the ancient capital city, the history left Xian lots of cultural relics which are also worthy of exploring. Join in a small group to visit Xianis an ideal way to see the most highlight attractions with lower cost. On this small group tour, you will spend one day to visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses and Banpo Museum. On the other day you will explore the sites in Xian downtown area.

Itinerary

Day 1: Xian (Lunch)

Stop At: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Qinling North Road, Lintong District, Xi'an 710600 China
The tour guide and driver will pick you up in your hotel lobby at 07:30-08:30am. (Our guide will call your hotel room to confirm the exact time.) Today’s tour starts at Terra-Cotta Warriors which was praised as “the eighth major miracle of the world". One of the top ten places of historical interest in China. It will take you about 2.5 hours inside of the museum. On the way to Terracotta Warriors, you will pay a short visit to Terracotta Figures Factory to learn about how the Terracotta figures are made.

Stop At: Xi'an Banpo Museum, North of Banpo Village, Baqiao District, Xi'an 710038 China
In the afternoon, continue to visit Banpo Neolithic village. This New Stone Age site, dating from approximately 5,000 to 4,000 B.C., is one of the most complete examples of a Neolithic agricultural settlement in the world. After the whole day’s tour, transfer back to your hotel by 16:30.

Day 2: Xian (Lunch)

Stop At: Small Goose Pagoda, No.72 Youyi Road, Beilin District, Xi'an 710068 China
The tour guide and the driver will meet you in your hotel lobby. Today’s adventure begins with Small Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the two Buddhist temples built in the Tang Dynasty which locates in an ancient Chinese style garden. Next we will move on to North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda to have an outer look of the pagoda and enjoy some relaxing time when walking on the square.

Stop At: Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang), Zhongxin District, Xi'an 710001 China
After lunch, we’ll move on to Xian Ancient City Wall. The 600 years old City Wall is the most completely preserved and the largest city wall in China. After that you will visit the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square. And from the back of the Bell Tower you will enter the Muslim Quarter. Many special local products and snacks could be found along this street. At the end of the day tour, you are transferred back to your hotel in Xian city area at about 17:00.
