Itinerary

Day 1: Phnom Penh - City Tour

Stop At: Royal Palace, Sothearos between Street 240 & 184, Phnom Penh Cambodia
the magnificent Royal Palace which still serve as resident to the highly respected Royal family and His Majesty the King Norodom Sihakmony, continue to visit the famous and most sacred Silver Pagoda.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, Corner of Street 113 & St 350 History Museum, Phnom Penh 12304 Cambodia
Begin the educational tour on Cambodian recent history by visiting the former Khmer Rouge S-21 prison, now known as Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Choeung Ek Genocidal Center, Roluos Village, Sangkat Cheung Aek, Phnom Penh Cambodia
Then travel 16km to the outskirt of Phnom Penh to the notorious Killing Field of Cheung Ek where a memorial stupa stands in front of the mass killing site. Now the site serves as the museum and memorial center for the victims of Pol Pot regime from 1975-1979.

Stop At: Central Market, Calmette St. 53, Phnom Penh 55555 Cambodia
Visit Central Market – known as Phsar Thmey to local, it is a beautiful art-deco building, constructed in 1930s by French architect Louis Chauchon. At this market you can find almost everything on sales from bargain garment products to fresh seafood.

Day 2: Phnom Penh - Kampong Cham

Stop At: Kampong Cham Riverside Park, Krong Kampong Cham, Cambodia
After tour introduction and safety briefing, we begin our trip with a ride on village road along the Mekong River toward Kampong Cham – the country’s largest province.
Once you get used to the bike, we will take the back road out of Phnom Penh with little traffic along the scenic road. We will stop regularly to see the sights along the way including a stop at the silk weaving village where we see villagers sit underneath their house on stilt producing shiny silk scarves called kroma using their traditional wooden loom. Along the way, there are numerous family-size businesses including kantel – the old fashion but the must-have mat weave from river reed. We also make a river crossing using wooden ferry that locals use for their daily river crossing.
On arrival to Kampong Cham, we check-in to hotel and relax in this nice colonial town.

Day 3: Kampong Cham - Kampong Thom

Stop At: Wat Hanchey, 20km North of Kampong Cham, Kampong Cham Cambodia
Today, we continue riding along the Mekong and make a stop at the 1500 years old holy site of the pre-Angkorian Khmer – Wat Hanchey that was built in 6th century AD. We get to the hilltop and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Mekong and the surrounding landscape.

Day 4: Kampong Thom - Siem Reap

Stop At: Sambor Prei Kuk, Road 219 Cambodia
On the way, we stop for a visit to UNESCO World Heritage site of Sambor Preikuh – the pre-Angkorian capital dated back between 6th to 9th century.
We then travel on the path of ancient road connect the Great Preah Khan to Angkor a hundred kilometers away. It is hard to imagine that a thousand year ago this ancient highway that served as an important trading route in the kingdom became a small trail only accessible by nothing bigger than a motorcycle.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Temple Tour

Stop At: Ta Prohm, National Road #6 Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Early morning, visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever.

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia
And continue to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat - one of the world’s most impressive ruins. The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art.

Stop At: Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap 17259 Cambodia
Continue exploring the mysterious Royal city of Angkor Thom. The 54-tower temple of Bayon is an awesome sight with hundreds of smiling faces. Then visit to the surroundings of the complex including the Baphuon, Elephant Terraces, Leper King Terrace and Royal Palace.

Day 6: Siem Reap - floating village

Stop At: Chong Kneas Floating Village, Tonle Sap, Siem Reap Cambodia
This morning, visit the floating village on the Great Lake of Tonle Sap to learn about life of local inhabitants. Here we board a motorboat and travel in close proximity to the floating homes, floating schools, floating restaurants and literally everything is floating.

Stop At: Artisans Angkor, Stung Thmey Street, Siem Reap 17259 Cambodia
We visit Artisans D’Angkor, a center that provides a real showcase of Khmer Craftsmanship. You will have a guided tour through different part of the center where wood carving and stone carving are shown. The best example of how the carvings on the temple are made.

Stop At: Angkor Silk Farm, Airport Road Puok District, Siem Reap 17259 Cambodia
Continue to visit Silk Farm of Puok, where you can see the silk production starting from the mulberry bush cultivation to the production of silk.
