On this day you will visit one of Bulgaria’s most famous natural landmarks - the Belogradchik Rocks. Nominated in the "New Seven Wonders of the World" competition, the amazing rock formations span a vast quadrature region and for centuries have inspired the human imagination that baptized them with the most bizarre names.

You will also explore the unique and protected by UNESCO natural landmark - the Magura Cave. It resembles an underground cathedral and is one of the most striking tourist attractions in Eastern Europe. What makes it unique are the extremely well preserved ancient drawings that have no analogs. Created by humans more than 7000 years ago, there are over 700 drawings in the cave.

In the unique atmosphere of this place, where the spirit of the past millennia lives, with myths and legends of ancient times, in the bowels of the cave, you will be able to taste some of the best Bulgarian wines.

Stop At: Belogradchik Rocks, Belogradchik 3900 Bulgaria

Your tour starts at 07:30 am. We’ll take you from your hotel or the apartment where you stay. Then we leave for the amazing Belogradchik Rocks – about 2.5 hours drive from Sofia.

Once there, you’ll:

Explore Belogradchik Rocks and the Belogradchik Fortress – one of the best-preserved fortresses in Bulgaria. Walkthrough two uniquely combined landmarks: the ancient and the natural fortress of the unique natural phenomenon of Belogradchik Rocks.

Visit Belogradchik where we can have lunchtime.

Stop At: The Magura Cave, Rabisha Lake, Rabisha 3938 Bulgaria

Visit one of the largest, most beautiful and interesting caves in Bulgaria – Magurata Cave. Known for its well-preserved rock depictions of the lives of primitive people, fantastic underground formations and the natural champagne of wine in one of the halls. A unique solar-lunar calendar of 366 days has been discovered in the cave.

Wine tour and wine tasting in Magura cave (optional). The tastings are held in a unique setting – in the Bat Gallery of Magura Cave. Deep into the cave, beneath the monotonous sound of working stalactite, where bottled natural sparkling wine matures and selected wines are aging, you will be able to taste a selection of 3 wines and Natural sparkling wine with cheese and dry appetizers:

On weekends – 40 leva per person
