Nogo Station Experience

Outback history and a contemporary working station come together at Nogo. Abigail (née Kinnon) welcomes you to her home and cooks up a wonderful morning tea while you experience the past and present of this grazing property.

Our sheep-shearing demonstration gets you up close to what life is like in the shearing sheds where so many iconic outback stories began.

A highlight is the station safari, where you board our double-decker, open-top overlander safari bus to venture across Nogo’s sunlit plains to spot the many animals and birds that make the outback home. You’ll also see the ruins of Captain Starlight’s stockyards and a recreation of his camp down by the billabong. Back at the homestead, Abigail will share more of the station’s history. Explore some of the public rooms in the house and get a sense for what life would have been like here in the pioneering past.
