• We believe that the key to Halong Bay’s future lies in recycling, which is something that we are passionate about on the V’Spirit Premier Cruise. We recycle water bottles and shampoo bottles, while for other toiletries, we provide packaging made of 100% recyclable materials.

• Occasionally, we will head out onto the water to engage in a bay clean-up, where we scoop up items of rubbish from the bay. On kayaks and tender boats, our crew will scour the water with nets, collecting rubbish for proper recycling.

• To address the problem of pollution in Halong Bay, our highly modern ship has fewer emissions than most of the older ships plying the waters. Not only is this better for the threatened mangroves of the bay, but this approach, as well as the fewer emissions from our modern shuttle bus, is an improvement for global warming worldwide.

Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Lan Ha Bay – Bright & Dark caves – Overnight Area (L/D)

Stop At: Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba Vietnam
9:00 At your hotel lobby, the driver will to collect you and transfer you eastwards to Got Harbour.
12:00 At Got Harbour, we rest up before boarding the V’Spirit Premier Cruise, where the staff will welcome us warmly before presenting us with welcome drinks.

15:15 The captain begins our sailing into the evocative world of Lan Ha Bay as we watch through the dining room windows. A wonderful lunch will be served here while we cruise.
On sampan boats, some residents of the bay will show us their home by taking us to the Dark & Bright caves, two gorgeous caverns with a vast and enclosed lake on the other side. Swimming is also available here.
17:00 There will be an inviting happy hour back aboard the V’Spirit Premier Cruise as the sun begins to set over the bay.
19:00 We will have dinner to the beautiful sounds of traditional Vietnamese music tonight, all before free time at your leisure. Feel free to head out with the crew to try squid fishing on the tender boat, or head to the bar for social drinks before bed.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Viet Hai Village – Ba Trai Dao – Overnight Area (B/L/D)

6:30 For the early risers amongst our passengers, we will be holding a tai chi session on the sundeck. Join our onboard tai chi teacher as they take you through the basic steps.
07:15 An excellent breakfast served in the dining room will come before you board the day boat and head over to Cat Ba Island.
09:00 In the secluded eastern area of Cat Ba, we find the village of Viet Hai. We will take a walking tour around the gorgeous village and its attractively wild borders. After this, we take bicycles around the rainforest and rice fields of the local farmers.

13:30 Once we get back to the day boat, we have a beautiful lunch while floating serenely on the water.
Next area is Ba Trai Dao area. Take advantage of the tranquility here to kayak and swim in the remarkable quietness. We will take advantage of the tranquility here to kayak and swim in the remarkable quietness.
16:00 After a relaxing time on the day boat, we rejoin the V’Spirit Premier Cruise and head back to our enchanting overnight area while happy hour begins again.
19:00 Dinner will be yet another delicious offering from the chef. Take the evening as you like afterwards, perhaps this is by playing board games, opting for a massage treatment or simply relaxing back in the cabin.

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay – Dark & Bright Caves – Hanoi (B/L)

6:00 There will be another tai chi session on the sundeck, giving you another chance to learn the basics of this martial art in the new light of Lan Ha Bay.

10:00 Head downstairs after this to enjoy the light breakfast that will be laid out in the dining room.
Experience some fantastic kayaking to discover the lovely Tra Bau area. Visit a fishing farm and socialize with the resident fishermen in order to know more about their life and how they work every day.
Return to the ship and enjoy the cooking demonstration put on by our talented chef as they give you an insight into Vietnamese cuisine, then sit down for a lovely lunch buffet, on our approach to the harbour.
12:00 Step off the ship and onto the bus that will take us back to Hanoi.
