A private culinary tour is an in-depth exploration of Vietnam, the gourmet’s paradise, well-known for its exotic cuisine. From the famous street food stalls and home cooked dinners of Hanoi, to Hue’s royal cuisine, feast your way through the country as we take you on a 11 day culinary exploration of Vietnam. • Take part in a gastronomy course in Saigon with a culinary master
• Wiz through the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh on the back of a scooter
• Enjoy breath-taking sunset on Tam Giang Lagoon (Hue) and have a special sea-food dinner at a floating fishing house
• Wander through the picturesque rural area of Hoi An to watch and admire people's ordinary local life
• Take to the streets with a local street food blogger in Hanoi 

Day 1 Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City

You will be welcomed by your local guide at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City and travel by air-conditioned vehicle to the city and your hotel.

Day 2 Ho Chi Minh City: Hands-on Cookery Course - Nightlife By Scooter

The morning will be devoted to discovering the culinary delights of Ho Chi Minh City with your cooking class. In the afternoon, visit some of the historic sites of the city: including Cho Lon and Thien Hau Pagoda, the former Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Opera House. Early this evening, drive through this hectic but beautiful city to discover how Saigon nightlife unfolds.

Day 3 Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Thia

You will be taken from Ho Chi Minh City to Cai Thia Canal in Cai Be District, where you will start your excursion deep into the Mekong Delta area.

Day 4 Ho Chi Minh City - Fly to Hue: Sunset at Chuon Lagoon

Bid farewell to Saigon and fly to Hue. In the afternoon, start your exciting bike ride then board a boat where you will experience the scenic sunset on Tam Giang Lagoon.

Day 5 The Picturesque Hue

In the morning, you will pay a visit to the impressive Imperial Citadel of Hue. Following the visit, start cycling towards Phu Mong village. In the afternoon, visit Minh Mang tomb – one of the most beautiful tombs in Hue. Finish your day with a walking tour around Dong Ba Market, to discover the typical local foods of the Hue people.

Day 6 Hue - Danang - Hoi An

Today, you will depart for the ancient town of Hoi An via the scenic Hai Van Pass. Arrive and set out for a stroll around this charming little ancient town.

Day 7 Hoi An & Beyond

Spend the morning at Tra Que - an eco-village being half an hour ride from Hoi An. Treat yourself with a home-cooked lunch with the local host. This afternoon, keep on your journey with a boat ride to the mouth of Thu Bon river to enjoy the daily activities of the fishing people such as throwing a fishing net and trading their products. 

Day 8 Hoi An - Danang - Hanoi Street-food Discovery

Transfer to Danang Airport for your flight onward Hanoi. Early in the evening, squeeze through the small alleys in the Old Quarter of Hanoi - a perfect chance to eat all street food in the most exciting way, as locals do.

Day 9 Hanoian Vegetarian Home-cook Hearty Meal

Vegetarian cuisine is no longer the demanding option that it used to be – now it’s easy being green, even in Vietnam where most dishes are accompanied with meat. Let's dive into it!

Day 10 Hanoi - Halong Bay

Picked up to your traditional overnight junk boat in Halong and spend the day relaxing while immersing into the breath-taking view this experience offers.

Day 11 Halong Bay - Depart Hanoi

End of your trip. Back to Hanoi and let's just say "See you later!" instead of "Good bye!"
