Overview: This is the ultimate San Francisco city discovery tour at night, designed to explore breathtaking sights, iconic places, and unique hidden gems unknown to 90% of visitors to San Francisco. Enjoy the city at your own pace, with many photo stops. The tour starts in the exciting metropolis of San Francisco. Our luxury SUV tours are conducted by local, passionate and highly-trained tour guides, many of whom are bi-lingual or multi-lingual, and have earned hundreds of 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor. Our tours are open to solo travelers, couples, families, friends, as well as corporate and incentive groups. For larger groups, we are happy to accommodate you in separate SUVs for up to seven guests, or in small luxury vans which accommodate up to fourteen.

No Bus Tour
Why choose an SUV tour? Did you know that many iconic sights and neighborhoods in San Francisco are prohibited to large van and bus tours? These include Telegraph Hill, the famous Lombard Street, the ‘Painted Ladies’ (Postcard Row) on Alamo Square, the elegant Sea Cliff neighborhood, Baker Beach, Russian Hill neighborhood on San Francisco's most famous cable car route, and many other hidden sights, scenic areas, and mysterious back streets of the city. We highly recommend our SUV tours so that you can enjoy these gems up close, including a drive down the ‘Crookedest Street in the World.’

The Golden Gate Bridge at night
The bridge is widely considered a beautiful architectural achievement because of its challenging and giant structure. This iconic monument became a Modern Wonder of the World. Just before sunset, your tour guide will drive you across the Golden Gate Bridge and up to the Marin Headlines, where you can view the skyline of San Francisco between the two beautiful Art Deco towers of the bridge. For photography enthusiasts, don't forget to bring your tripod and a camera that allows you take long exposure photographs for postcard-perfect images..

Palace-of-Fine-Arts We will provide ample photo stops, and give you time to buy souvenirs along the way in your own time. Enjoy the views atop Nob Hill where the silver and railroad barons built impressive mansions, the cable cars ‘climbing halfway to the sky,’ Union Square with its glamorous shops, Chinatown (the first in North America and largest outside of Asia) - with an optional stop for fortune cookies, North Beach known as ‘Little Italy’ with pizzas to suit all tastes, and the multi-million dollar homes in Pacific Heights. Marvel at Golden Gate Park with its many wonders, including lakes, waterfalls, windmills, bison herd, museums, botanical gardens, the Japanese Tea Garden where you can enjoy a cup of hot tea in their rustic chalet, the Conservatory of Flowers with its exotic collection of flora, the De Young Art Museum ranked in the top five art museums in the U.S., or the famous California Academy of Sciences with its huge IMAX Theater, albino alligator, and exotic birds, which are sure to excite families with kids.

Haight-Ashbury We will drive up to Twin Peaks, the highest point in the city, to enjoy sweeping and panoramic views of San Francisco and the bay beyond, visit the famed Haight-Ashbury, capital of the hippie movement of the 1960s and home to Jerry Garcia, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin, the eclectic Castro District, the scenic hills of Noe Valley, and Mission Dolores, the oldest surviving building in San Francisco. A particular highlight is crossing the Golden Gate Bridge for spectacular photos in the Marin Headlands.

Grace-cathedral Along the way, your tour guide will share stories from history, as well as tales of contemporary life in this famed city. You may enjoy your lunch (not included in tour price) at one of the celebrated ethnic restaurants in the Mission District, including typical Peruvian, Argentinean, Mexican, Puerto Rican, French and Indian cuisine, or North Beach, home to a variety of Italian restaurants, or opt for spectacular views at the Cliff House or Beach Chalet overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Alternatively, as we will be driving over the Golden Gate Bridge, you may choose to have lunch in the picturesque town of Sausalito.

The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and Treasure Island
The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge opened in 1936 – almost a full year before the Golden Gate Bridge, and cost more than twice as much to build! It is considered an incredible engineering achievement because the first half of the bridge consists of two major spans, supported by a steel-framed concrete pillar with more concrete than the Empire State Building and connects San Francisco to the East Bay via Yerba Buena Island. Enjoy incredible views of the Bay Bridge, Yerba Buena and Treasure Islands on our city tours and bay cruise tours. We will drive you to Treasure Island which provides glittery panoramic and breathtaking views of the city’s skyline.
Enjoy complimentary champagne, as you contemplate San Francisco Bay.

Twin Peaks and Sutro Tower
Twin Peaks are two hills on the highest elevation of San Francisco. They offer sweeping and unique views of the San Francisco Bay area and the Pacific Ocean. Sutro Tower stands atop Twin Peaks among other towers that provide transmission of television and radio. We recommend our private SUV Tour if you are interested in exploring San Francisco and its scenic highlands in-depth. Book online and take advantage of our discounted rates.
Whether you are a first-time visitor or a repeat customer, your itinerary will be tailored to your expectations and tour needs. Please let us know more about your priorities, points of interest, and requirements, so we may prepare your tour accordingly.

City Hall of San Francisco and Civic Center
San Francisco’s city hall is the heart of the vibrant Civic Center area. The structure is reminiscent of the European Beaux-Arts and classic architectural style. Its baroque dome is the fifth largest dome in the world. San Francisco's beautiful city hall was featured in many famous movies including ‘The Rock,’ ‘Dirty Harry,’ and James Bond films. Fun fact: Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe were married at San Francisco’s City Hall.
Benefits of our private San Francisco tours: A private SUV tour of San Francisco provides you and your family, friends, or your own private party with a wonderfully comfortable drive, access to exclusive districts, scenic hills and winding streets that are prohibited to large van and bus tours. Your passionate and knowledgeable driver-guide is dedicated to making sure you have a terrific tour, and won't miss out on the unique sights of the “City by the Bay.”

Union Square is the heart of San Francisco and considered a paradise for shoppers. Union Square is a plaza of 2.6 acres (11,000 m2) bordered by Geary, Powell, Post, and Stockton Streets in downtown San Francisco. ‘Union Square’ refers to the central shopping, hotels, cultural center, and theater district that surrounds the plaza. This beautiful space got its name from the rallies, in support of the Union Army during the Civil War, which was held there. Today, this one-block plaza and nearby area is home to one of the world's premier shopping districts, with the largest collection of department stores, upscale boutiques, tourist trinket shops, art galleries, and saloons in California, making Union Square a major tourist attraction and a vital, cosmopolitan place in downtown San Francisco.

San Francisco's Chinatown is the oldest and largest Chinatown in North America. It is home to the largest Chinese community outside of China and brings people from all over the world. It is located between Nob Hill, North Beach, and Union Square. We offer guided walking tours through Chinatown as well, with lunch or dinner included. Book online or give us a call, and we will take care of the rest.
