Creole Sugarland Tours offers tours revolving around the creole culture, local cuisine, sugarcane, and the long-honored Louisiana bonfire tradition.  Our tours highlight the contributions of the local Creole Culture, also the enslaved Africans who once worked on numerous plantations in the area. Whether it's through food, music, agriculture, or even spirituality we are shining the light on this culture, that still impacts us today. 

Everyday in December, visitors will learn about the history of the bonfires while witnessing a first-hand demonstration of how these structures are created. Saturday evenings, visitors can experience the lighting of a bonfire along with Live Music. Dishes such as jambalaya, gumbo, red beans, and "Sugarcane" Hot Chocolate will be served. Activities for the kids includes hayrides and marshmallow roasting. 

Tours start outside on learning the history of the land, bonfire, sugarcane and much more, next you will enjoy experiencing the artifacts of the land, lastly you can enjoy a creole meal. Featuring dishes: Gumbo, Jambalaya, and red beans and rice, and other creole dishes!
