This is an ideal shore excursion which commence from Colombo harbor and then proceed through the buzzing local fish market of Negombo. You can buy fresh fish for lunch, explore the mangroves by boat, do some fishing and experience how local fishers carry out traditional fishing. Then take a catamaran ride and have a picnic lunch on an island with grilled seafood.

8:00 Pick up from your the passenger Pier at Colombo Harbor and proceed to Negombo.

9:00 Visit Negombo fish market and buy your favorite fresh seafood to cook for your lunch in addition to the seafood we provide during the trip.

10:00 Start boat tour in Negombo lagoon. Here you can engage with traditional and modern ways of fishing in lagoon. Refreshment will be provided during the boat trip.

12:30 Live cooking of your lunch in an Island in the lagoon which you can participate in. Rice and two grilled seafood items will be served, plus any additional seafood you may have purchases during your visit to the fish market.

14:30 Take a Catamaran ride with an experienced rider through the lagoon area while you relax and see the beautiful scenery.

16:00 End of the lagoon trip you will be taken back and dropped off at the passenger Pier in Colombo Harbor (Approx. 1 hour 30 mins. drive)
