Colombo Cuisine Tour – Home visit with interactive cooking

Visit a local home in Colombo for an interactive cooking session and lunch. The cooking session will be led by the lady of the house. There is no “standard menu” for the meal; it is based on the season and what’s available in the market. You have two options to choose from: vegetarian or non-vegetarian. If you have any other dietary restrictions or preferences please let us know

Itinerary

While this is not a cooking class conducted by professionals, you’ll find yourself learning a lot about Sri Lankan food because of the interactive and friendly nature of the session. This activity also provides a chance to visit a “regular” home, see what family life is like, and chat about daily life in the city. Some of the homes where we conduct this cooking tour do not speak fluent English, so our chauffeur-guide will assist you where required.
