In the track of forest people

Come and join us for an easy commented hiking tour following the footsteps of the forest people Huncokárs - a German speaking community that lived on both sides of the Little Carpathians since 18th century. You will learn why they came here, how did they live, what they believed in and what were they engaged in. The walk takes place in the forest area of Zochova Chata – most popular recreation spot of the Little Carpathians. You will learn some interesting fact and here hear some captivating stories while enjoying the walk and easy hike in the beautiful forest.

The circuit is about 9 km long and takes about 2.5-3 hours. The terrain is easy, mainly in the forest road as well as asphalt and some muddy parts. The tour is also suitable for children and dogs. We will start & end at the same place. Parking is for free.

Public transport to the meeting point Modra, Piesok, Zochova chata

You need to go to the main bus station in Bratislava -Mlynské Nivy, platform 22. The bus to Modra, Piesok, Zochova chata leaves from the platform Nr. 22 at 9.40, 11.40., 13.40., 15.40. The journey takes 1h, 15 minutes. The final destination- the last bust stop is also our starting point.
The return bus leaves from the same bus stop at 13.05, 15.05, 17.05.
