2 Days - Safari at Akagera National Park, Full Game drive

This trip will give you a classic African outlook of Rwanda – the land of “a thousand Hills.” Enjoy the different backdrops of Rwanda as you turn along the hilly roads. The parks are a mixture of savannah, forest, and mountainous giving varied sights of Rwanda. From Elephants to Zebras to including boat rides are some of the highlights on this safari and cultural encounter. The lakes include Lake Ihema which is the second largest in Rwanda, Lake Shakani, Lake Rwanyakizinga, Lake Gishanju and Lake Mihindi. The water bodies contain Hippopotamus and Nile crocodile and a range of fish.

Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and transfer to akagera for half Game drive, and Boat ride at Lake Ihema
After an early breakfast, we shall do a Morning game drive, Have a picnic lunch in the park. From there you shall do an afternoon boat ride on Lake Hema where you shall enjoy watching the aquatic animals such as Hippos, Lions, Crocodiles as well as water birds like the Papyrus Gonolek, shoebill stork, and African fish eagle. From there we shall drive to your camp site

Day 2: Game Drive and transfer to Kigali

We shall have yet another day of adventure within the park, enjoying the beautiful sceneries of Rwanda’s hilly landscape, comprised of a blend of wetland, savannah, and woodland, the natural forests also make quite a view. The location of the park shows that it lies at a lower altitude as
Compared to rest of the country, therefore meaning that it is not only warmer but drier. Some of the wildlife you will see here include Giraffes, Buffalos, and Elephants as well as a profusion of birds. If fortunate, we may be able to sight at the Shoebill Stork, especially around the shores of the lake. From here you will drive back to Kigali.
