After your guide picks you up at your hotel, you begin the adventure in the magical Moscow. Starting with the Bolshoi Theatre, which is the heart of Christmas Moscow. In medieval times the square in front of it used to be the Christmas tree market . Every year on the square in front of it you can find light decorations inspired by motives of famous performances, such as Swan Lake or Nutcracker. Your guide will tell you what ballet is a must see on New Year and where is the best place to celebrate it in Moscow:)

One of the best Christmas markets in the city, and a must-see for everybody. There are more than 20 little houses where you can try traditional Russian foods, such as blinis with caviar, and baked potatoes with mushrooms and pickles. You can also keep yourself warm by drinking sbiten' - our answer to the mulled wine! If you need to pick up a few souvenirs, this is a good spot, with traditional items such as Khohloma toys, Orenburg shawls, and Tula gingerbread being sold by representatives of these parts of the country. Of course, there are also plenty of Christmas tree decorations to tempt you. If you are travelling with kids, or you feel like one:)) there’s a carousel and a giant slide to have some fun!

The former State Department Store and now a glittering shopping mall covered in dazzling decorations.
Learn from your guide about the crazy times in the GUM when it became housing, about many-hour lines for shoes and its' further transformation into the fancy brands store. You'll be wowed by the Christmas ornaments and decorations, pine tree alley done by different international designers and trading stalls with crafts from all over Russia.
Get the festive mood and continue with the local spots with traditional winter games and performances!

Continue your tour at the famous Zaradye park with a view from floating bridge and a cup of delicious Sbiten' - a warm drink made of honey and different spices, sometimes with berries, oranges, lemons, mint or ginger added:)

The Magic Forest on Manezh Square has around 40 Christmas trees and it truly feels like a walk in the true Russian forest. In total in Moscow there will be installed more than 300 of those. More than that, there is a gigantic ice slide nearby, the biggest one in Russia, where you can have fun and feel like a child!

Absorb the energetic festive atmosphere at the neon-lit Stoleshnikov Lane, the most expensive street of Moscow (and 12th most expensive in the world)! It's Christmas market is dotted with stalls and chalets where you can find unusual Christmas decorations like tablecloths, napkins, porcelain sets, souvenirs with the author’s paintings and Christmas decorations.

Finish with the extraordinary Cathedral of Christ the Saviour - one of the main cathedrals of Orthodox Christian religion. We will talk about traditions of celebration of Christmas in Russia. Nearby the cathedral there is a trendy Red October district, full of bars, restaurants and clubs, where we can leave, so you can continue your evening there. Or we can take you to any other part of the city, for example back to your hotel or to Arbat street:))
