We'll show you places in Sintra where dreams came true.

First you’ll have to choose the vehicle: Jeep or Van. Then we’ll pick you and we’ll start our experience at Palácio da Pena.

Then we’ll go to Quinta da Regaleira. This was Carvalho Monteiro's dream : making this a place of Freemasonry initiation. It will take us to the center of the earth through the various and mysterious caves. There is also a well where, as legend says, we can reborn (could this be a dream?)

Then we will have lunch next to the beach in one of the great local restaurants.

Next, our journey will go through Azenhas do Mar, a small village built on a cliff, with a dream view.

We’ll finish with wine tasting at Casal Santa Maria (the westernmost vineyard and winery in Europe). Here a Baron made his dream came true by starting producing wine at 96 years old.

Stop At: Park and National Palace of Pena, Estrada da Pena, Sintra 2710-609 Portugal

It was from there that King Manuel saw Vasco de Gama ships arriving. With this Portugal realized an old dream: to discover the maritime route to India. Later, D. Fernando II, also made his dream come true: to make the Pena Palace a unique and enchanted place where the Portuguese culture has a special place.

The most famous building in Sintra is Pena Palace. Built in the 1840s, on the top of the hill, that can easily be seen from Lisbon and it is one of Europe’s most fantastic palaces.

The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. This palace it is a maximum reference of Portuguese Romantic architecture.

King Fernando II second wife, who helped him realize the dream of bringing plants and trees from all over the world to the beautiful park that surrounds the Palace and the Chalet.

Monserrate Palace is a beautiful 19th century stately home. This extravagantly decorated palace blends Portuguese, Arabian and Indian architectural styles and is one the most beautiful buildings in Sintra. The palace was commissioned by Francis Cook, an English textile baron, who used the estate as a summer retreat.

The grounds of the Monserrate Palace hide specialist and exotic gardens with non-native plants. This palace is the smallest of Sintra’s three palaces but it is by far the most decorative and beautiful one.
