Stop At: Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, 2495-402 Fátima, Portugal

This Marian center of pilgrimage evokes the apparitions of Our Lady to the three little shepherds Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta, who took place in 1917 and were recognized in 1930. The place was a rural property called Cova da Iria and belonged to Lucia's parents who donated it to the sanctuary. It was here that five of the six apparitions took place.
The Sanctuary includes the Chapel of Apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Prayer Hall and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity. They complement the Sanctuary, the Retreat Houses of Our Lady of Sorrows and Our Lady of Carmo and the Paul VI Pastoral Center.

Stop At: R. das Grutas da Moeda The Coin Caves Are Just 2km From Fatima's Shrine, Sao Mamede 2495-028 Portugal

The Moeda Caves have a visitable length of 350 meters, reaching a depth of 45 meters during the visit, with an average temperature of 18ºC inside the cave, guided tours last approximately 25 minutes.
Discovered in 1971 by two hunters who were in pursuit of a fox, they were explored and discovered by them, gradually revealing the beauty of their rooms and galleries.

Pass By: Batalha Monastery, Largo Infante Dom Henrique 2440, Batalha 2440-484 Portugal

Classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 2007, the Monastery of Batalha, or Convent of Santa Maria da Vitória is one of the greatest Portuguese architectural gems, and also the most striking symbol of the Avis Dynasty.
It was built by King João I, Master of Avis, as a thank-you for the victory in the Battle of Aljubarrota, which gave the final motto in the difficult crisis of 1383-85, the construction work began in 1388, attributed to Master Afonso Domingues.
The Monastery of Batalha is today the great monument of the Gothic Portuguese final and the first where the "Manueline Art" was debuted.

Stop At: Nazaré Lighthouse, Estr. do Farol, 2450 Nazaré, Portugal

Lighthouse installed in the Fort of San Miguel since 1903. It serves for the aid to navigation. And it currently has a light range of 15 miles, being completed by a warning sound on days of intense fog.
It is also the best point to observe the giant waves caused by the "Nazaré cannon" and Praia do Norte.

Stop At: Obidos Village, Obidos Portugal

The medieval village of Óbidos is one of the most picturesque and well preserved of Portugal, has become more prosperous from the moment it was chosen by the royal family. Since the king D.
