Nomad VIP 3-day Southern Tour

Fall in love with the south coast of Montenegro! Take a cruise through the southernmost fjord in Europe, known as Boka Bay, with glimmering waters and impressive mountain massifs. Time travel back to old walled cities of the Venetian era and take a toast to the new times. Venture into off-the-beaten track destinations and learn of the mythical folklore and stunning history of Europe’s best kept secret whilst enjoying mouth-watering Mediterranean cuisine.

Day 1

Podgorica - Skadar Lake - Sveti Stefan - Budva - Lustica Bay

Start the tour in the “town on three bridges” – Virpazar, a charming fishing village dating back to the 13th Century where you can purchase fresh local produce if you’re lucky enough to visit on market day. Sample some Nomad activities – take a guided ATV drive, speedboat or boat cruise around Skadar Lake, the largest freshwater lake on the Balkan peninsula and a famous wildlife and bird reserve.

Drive to the picturesque settlement of Budva, filled with charming stone houses and antique piazzas before reaching a pit-stop viewpoint of Sveti Stefan, an beautiful privatised island and iconic feature of the coastline. You can even enjoy an optional guided tour of the island’s polished pathways.

Day 2

Lustica - Boka Bay cruise - Lustica

Park the adventure van and jump on board a boat to experience the Bay and beyond – head to the famous Blue Cave, a turquoise lagoon reflecting all shades of blue from the glimmering waters. Combine legends with the historical depth of the island of Our Lady of the Rocks, most famous for the legend of Penelope of Montenegro. If the sights from the sea are not enough, adventurous Nomads can take a panoramic helicopter flight over the Bay.

Day 3

Lustica - Speedboat transfer to Kotor - Serpentine road - Njegusi - Cetinje - Lipa Cave

Stroll through the coastal town of Kotor, with unique Venetian architecture, well-preserved, crisscrossed avenues and stone cobbled squares, churches and palaces. Go back in time with role-play activities, fencing and archery, whilst dressed in knights armour. Following the battle of the swords, ascend the Serpentine road to the little village of Njegusi and enjoy a panorama of the Boka Bay.

Snack on traditional delicacies of prosciutto, cheese and priganice (homemade doughnuts), washed down with a local digestif, rakija. Continue to the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje to admire the essence of Montenegrin culture, before heading north to the Lipa Cave, a spectacular underground display of calcified mineral formations.
