Walking tour in the historic downtown Mexico city

We meet at your hotel Lobby at 9 am or other agreed hour. (only for hotels located in the historic center Mexico city. If your hotel is in other location an extra fee may apply for transportation)

The walking tour includes, architecture, history, archaeology and art.

Beginning with the beautiful and huge mural paintings of famous Diego Rivera in the National Government Palace. 

In the same place we can witness a multimedia show of the UNESCO world heritage of our country.

We are also going to see from outside the Templo Mayor, Aztec archaeological site and with the help of the outside dummies, we will explain the history of the foundation of the old Tenochtitlan, the Venice of America. We head to the Metropolitan Cathedral, Madero pedestrian street, Main Post Office, Mining Palace and we end with the beautiful white marble Palace our Opera house, the Fine Arts Palace.
*We decide when and where do we have lunch or dinner.

Itinerary

Stop At: National Palace (Palacio Nacional), Avenida Pino Suarez, Corregidora esquina Guatemala Zócalo, Mexico City 06060 Mexico

We will see and receive an explanation of the mural paintings made by Diego Rivera. The art of revolution are mainly frescoes that describe with images the most important historic moments of the Mexican History.

Stop At: Museo del Templo Mayor, Seminario 8 Centro Histórico, Mexico City 06060 Mexico

Templo Mayor is the old ruins of the Aztec temples, we see them from outside to know the foundation of the city on a lake in the XIV Century.

Stop At: Catedral Metropolitana de la Ciudad de Mexico, Calle Plaza de La Constitucion s/n, Mexico City 06000 Mexico

The third largest cathedral in the world with a unique and impressive baroque style.

This is a lively pedestrian street with full of motives to see, including architecture, street art, monuments and shops.

An imposing art deco palace, our Opera House and home to the famous Diego Rivera mural that was destroyed in New York's rockefeller center. (only from outside)
