Pony Walking Experience in the Countryside of Gozo (Half Day)

Fun for families and small groups!    Enjoy a wonderful, memorable time with our ponies and experience what it would be like to have your own. Tour around Dreams of Horses Farm accompanied by a guide and meet all our animals we care for.

Practice getting the ponies ready and set off for the adventure walk. Explore the hidden countryside beauties of Ramla Valley and surrounding hills, walking along with our adorable  ponies on the lead.  You will be accompanied by an experienced handler and guide.

Dreams of Horses is a special Caring Farm situated in beautiful Ramla Valley that offers interactive experiences with horses, ponies, donkeys and other domestic animals.  Most of our horses and animals we care for are rescues and offer therapeutic help for children and adults with needs.

We invite you to spend a morning or afternoon with our ponies and experience a wonderful time filled with lovely memories.  We will meet at Dreams of Horses Farm where a guide will accompany you around the farm and visit our animals - horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, cats, dogs, geese, ducks, chicken etc...  and share with you the vision of our project. Morning activities start at about 9:30 am and afternoon activities start at 2:30 pm (October-May) and at 4.00 pm (June-September). 

Spend a relaxing time with our affectionate ponies; experience what it would be like to have your own and participate in getting them ready for the walk (cleaning, grooming, interacting).  Practice walking the ponies on the lead in the farm and feel comfortable with them.  Set off with your leader for the walk-a-pony adventure along Ramla Valley (Wied ta' l-Ghejun) and discover the hidden corners and highlights of the valley which is dedicated mostly to agriculture.  Relax and experience the Gozitan countryside a few other do.

Your guide will lead you up Nuffara Hill, from where you will admire the breathtaking surrounding landscape.  Along the way you will be able to stop for photos at all the key beauty sights of your choice.  Enjoy the return to the farm where you will lead the ponies back to their stalls.

Afterwards, you will be able to join in with feeding our horses and animals.   Your activity will then finish with a refreshment break including coffee, tea, juice, water and traditional local finger foods.
