This tour comes for not more than 4 persons. Mosta Dome is one of the biggest church in Malta, its even bigger than St Pauls in London. Mdina glass is the leading maltese glass maker will be visiting the shop and also the factory where they blow the glass. Crystal Palace in Rabat 'town in the northern' is a shop where you can taste our traditional Maltese pastizzi (small, flacky pastry puffs filled with mushy peas, or ricotta cheese or even chicken) you can also enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee. Last stop maltas oldest city Mdina. Mdina is also known by its title Citta Vecchia or Citta Notabile. In Mdina you will find several barque features and even several types of restaurants where you can have a lovely lunch (your expence), one of them named Fontanella tea garden wich has amazing view and good pasta, also famous for its desserts and coffees. They call it the shop that never closes. The sign outside says ‘Crystal Palace Tea and Coffee Bar’. This traditional little bar on the outskirts of Rabat, just around the corner from the Roman Villa and a five-minute walk from the entrance to Mdina, has been around for over 100 years. Its name is somewhat more recent – dating back around 60 years when it was a popular meeting place for British troops

The city was founded as Maleth in around the 8th century BC by Phoenician settlers, and was later renamed Melite by the Romans. Ancient Melite was larger than present-day Mdina, and it was reduced to its present size during the Byzantine or Arab occupation of Malta. During the latter period, the city adopted its present name, which derives from the Arabic word medina. The city remained the capital of Malta throughout the Middle Ages, until the arrival of the Order of St. John in 1530, when Birgu became the administrative centre of the island.
