Jeep Tour with Accommodation

From the village, visit the Lawrence of Arabia Spring, then head to Wadi Um Areen to explore Nabataean inscriptions and climb sand dunes. Then go to Lawrence of Arabia House (Great Desert Views) and Canyon Canyon, you can walk on foot if you like (30 minutes on foot). Lunch on site. In the afternoon, visit the arch of Mount Barada and the arch of Umm Farouche (height 20 m) so you can climb it if you like, then walk through the valley of Khazali. Then we arrive at the camp for a traditional Bedouin dinner after enjoying the sunset and then the night under the stars or tents (depending on the weather). Breakfast and return to the village.

Stop At: Burdah Rock Bridge, Wadi Rum Village, Jordan

The largest of Rum's three arches is the Burdah Rock Bridge, precariously perched about 80m above surrounding rock. There’s a precipitous hike to the summit.

Stop At: Jebel Khazali, Wadi Rum Jordan

An easy siq to explore is the narrow fissure that cuts into Jebel Khazali. You can explore on foot for about 150m, far enough to appreciate the cool shade and to see inscriptions made by the ancients who used the siq for the same purpose. Look out for drawings of ostriches, pairs of feet and a woman giving birth.

Stop At: Lawrence's Spring, Wadi Rum Jordan

This spring, on the edge of the open sands, is a regular stop on the 4WD circuit.

Stop At: Seven Pillars of Wisdom, Wadi Rum Village, Jordan

Named in honour of Lawrence’s book, this large rock formation, with seven fluted turrets, is easy to see from the road near the Wadi Rum visitor centre. If you fancy a closer look, a rewarding hike circumnavigates the mountain via Makharas Canyon.
