Itinerary

It is an experience plan to make accessories with Japanese traditional craft, Mizuhiki.
In Japan, people used to give important gifts tied with a decorative band made of red and white string or gold leaf. This decoration is called Mizuhiki.
In this plan, you will practice “Awaji-knot” first, then you will make either earrings(pierced earrings) or a strap. "Awaji Knot" is one of the knots that can be used for both congratulations and condolences. The knot has also a meaning of “matchmaking” because it is difficult to untie once it is tied. For foreign tourists, English-speaking teachers will be provided.
