Nijō Castle is a flatland castle in Kyoto. It is one of the seventeen Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto which have been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

1. Opening hours: 8: 45-17: 00, Last Admission 16:00

2. Please remember to bring the original passport to the ticket gate, use the QR code (Which we're going to send you after the reservation) to enter directly without redemption of paper tickets.

4. Free Admission: Children aged 0-5 are free of charge

5. Discount tickets: Child ticket: Age 6-12, Youth Ticket: Age 13-18

6. Ninomaru Palace is closed every Tuesday of Jan, Jul, Aug, and Dec
In case the Tuesday falls on a public holiday, Ninomaru Palace will be closed on a Wednesday instead

Nijō Castle is a flatland castle in Kyoto, Japan. The castle consists of two concentric rings (Kuruwa) of fortifications, the Ninomaru Palace, the ruins of the Honmaru Palace, various support buildings and several gardens.

It is one of the seventeen Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto which have been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
