Itinerary

Japanese people used to give gifts wrapped in folded Japanese paper. With gratitude, fold and wrap the paper correctly. This is one of Japanese unique etiquettes, which is called Origata.
Origata is, so to speak, a wrapping method using traditional Japanese paper. There are differences in how to fold depending on the purpose: appreciation, celebration and hospitality depending on the seasons. In this plan, we practice how to make a basic envelop(pochi-bukuro) and a chopstick rest(hashi-oki). You can take home the completed work to commemorate this lesson.
