・Try tasting the Denki Bran alcohol at Japan's first ever bar, a specialty that has been around since the ancient times.

Pass By: Kappabashi Street (Kappabashi Dogugai), 3-8-12 Matsugaya, Taito 111-0036 Tokyo Prefecture

Kappa-bashi dori shopping street was established in the year 1923 after the great earthquake.

The street that stretches 800m long has about 170 shops filled with cooking goods!

Challenge the art of food display samples at the olden food sample store in Asakusa/Kappabashi! (each person will make 2 tempuras and 1 lettuce display)

This shop has an extremely long history starting from the end of the Taisho period/beginning of the Showa period, and has continued on till today. On this tour, we would like to introduce this traditional art made from ancient wax material. You will personally get to touch and feel the process of the wax forming into its designated shape. This activity is loved by tourists of all ages!

There are many streets in the Asakusa area, however, Denbouin street offers a historical atmosphere that you do not want to miss. Enjoy the souvenir shops and restaurants while taking in the Edo atmosphere of the street itself.

Various hidden figures are tucked away throughout the street, so keep an eye out for them!

You cannot miss out on Asakusa's menchi when visiting the area! Each person will get to try one menchi on this tour!

The Asakusa Menchi is made from the Japan's best beef and pork. One bit out of these, and you will taste a juicy sensation flowing through your mouth. Eating the menchi while taking in the breathtaking views of Asakusa is truly amazing.

40 years since Kamiya bar’s establishment.
Kamiya bar was built in 1912 and became an important national tangible property in 2011.

Try Asakusa's representative alcoholic beverage, Denki Bran, at Japan's first bar, Kamiya bar! (each person will be served one glass)

The Denki Bran, made from a brandy base with gin, wine, and other herbs, has been served to customers ever since the bar's establishment in 1880. This alcohol has been featured in novels, such as Human Disqualified. Because of the high alcohol percentage, you will feel an eletric rush through your body with one ship. Thus, the name, Denki meaning light. Enjoy a taste of Denki Bran in a retro bar in Asakusa.

*Under Japanese law, persons under the age of 20 will not be served alcohol.
*If you prefer not to drink, you can substitute your drink for a non-alcoholic drink.

Let's go visit the olden drinking town, Hoppi dori!

At Hoppi Dori, you can enjoy drinks while surrounded by Japanese lanterns and an atmosphere from the olden days of Japan. As you can tell from the name, Hoppi dori, each store sells ""Hoppi""s which are non-alcoholic drinks that you mix with sake.

*Visiting Hoppi Dori is outside of the scheduled tour. However, if you would like to visit the area, please let your guide know!

Take a walk on Nakamise dori street, which is located past the world famous, Kaminarimon gate. Enjoy sweet and savory snacks while walking towards Sensouji temple.

Nakamise dori street starts from the huge red lantern and leads all the way to Sensouji temple. This street connects those two attractions. Visitors can enjoy the ancient atmosphere of Japan while enjoying snacks from the past. Simply walking down the street is so much fun!
