Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Piramide Cestia, Via Raffaele Persichetti, 00153 Rome Italy

You can't miss the sight of this pyramid in the city center.
The Pyramid is located between the Non-Catholic Cemetery and Porta San Paolo (home of the museum) (photo 2) and is one of the most characteristic monuments of Rome. However, although it resembles the Egyptian pyramids, it is a monument completely built following Roman construction techniques. That is, the materials, the dimensions and the structure are typical of Roman building and in the center of the monument there is a single burial chamber.

Stop At: Piazza del Popolo, 00187 Rome Italy

The Flaminio Obelisk, in piazza del Popolo, is an Egyptian obelisk, placed in the splendid Piazza del Popolo which alone expresses all the art of Rome, from Romanesque and Renaissance art. "Emperor Augustus, Caesar's divine son, Emperor for the eleventh, Tribuno for the twelfth, dedicated this obelisk to the Sun, when Egypt had been governed by the Romans "are the two incisions still present on the sides of the obelisk.

Among the most suggestive and romantic places in Rome you cannot miss the orange garden, thanks to its enviable position, which allows you to admire a good part of Rome from above. The view extends from the Tiber, to the Temples of the Foro Boario, from Santa Maria in Cosmedin, to the Gianicolo and the unmistakable and imposing silhouette of the dome of St. Peter, seen through the famous keyhole.

Stop At: Abbazia di San Paolo Fuori Le Mura, Via Ostiense 186, 00146 Rome Italy

Unfailing, the papal basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls is one of the four papal basilicas of Rome, the second largest after that of St. Peter in the Vatican. It rises along the Via Ostiense, in the homonymous district, near the left bank of the Tiber about 2 km outside the Aurelian walls (hence its name), coming out of the Porta San Paolo. The tradition indicates that as the place of burial of the apostle Paul (about 3 km from the place - called "Tre Fontane" - in which he suffered martyrdom and was beheaded); the tomb of the saint is in fact found under the papal altar.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Cannone del Gianicolo, Piazzale Giuseppe Garibaldi, 00165 Rome Italy

Another small peculiarity of Rome. At the top of the hill (practically underneath the statue of Garibaldi) a cannon is fired from 24 January 1904 which shoots, at high noon, at noon. The shot, every day at 12.00, is an ancient tradition born to regulate the time in all the churches of Rome, in the rare days when the city is less noisy (particularly on Sundays, or August), you can hear it up to the Esquiline
