Monte Chiaro Organic Winery welcomes guests daily at our Professional Tasting Room "Cantinetta", inside the Castle of Monteriggioni, founded in 1213. The Griccioli family has been the oldest private proprietor of the Castle in the past, starting with the year 1720. Each tasting experience demonstrates Monte Chiaro’s dedication to Chianti’s native, noble varietals such as Sangiovese and Malvasia Nera.

Our expert guides will lead you through a easy and friendly 20/30 - min immersion into our rich history and winemaking operations. Guests will learn about the impressive history of the Monteriggioni Castle and our rich Chianti heritage.
