Marche Bike and Wine Tour

The theme of the "Marche Bike & Wine Tour" 2019 will be the best known DOC and DOCG wines of the territory. Routes chosen and selected by the Marche and former pro Andrea Tonti, who will accompany us for a 3 days to discover the typicality and the Doc and Docg wines of the Marche in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. And there will certainly be some climbs on the gentle hills. A total of approximately 274 km will be covered in 3 hamlets. Bike friendly accommodation facility.
For those who do not pedal we will take guided tours and daily excursions to the points of interest in the area. Not to be missed!

Itinerary

Day 1: Tour of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi

Stop At: Cattedrale San Leopardo, Piazza Duomo 7, 60027 Osimo Italy
Participants who are not involved in the bike tour in the Verdicchio hills will make a guided tour of the historic center of Osimo, including the underground caves. At the end we will be reunited with the cyclists for lunch in the cellar.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Grotte di Osimo, Via Fonte Magna 12, 60027 Osimo Italy
About 2,500 years ago, ancient peoples began to dig the hill in depth to make you defensive walkways and secret passages, to replenish water and survive
Duration: 40 minutes

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Breakfast at hotel

• Dinner: Dinner in hotel

Day 2: Rosso Conero tour

Stop At: Camminamenti di Ronda della Pontificia Basilica, Piazza della Madonna, 60025 Loreto Italy
Participants not involved in the bike tour through the Rosso Conero hills will experience this magnificent experience: a local expert guide will guide us to discover one of the most famous Marian basilicas in the world. The Basilica contains the relics of the Holy House of Mary of Nazareth.
Duration: 3 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Breakfast at hotel
• Lunch: Wine and food tasting dedicated to Rosso Conero
• Dinner: dinner in hotel

Day 3: Tour of the Lacrima di Morro d'Alba

Stop At: Grotte di Frasassi, Viale Giovanni Marinelli, San Vittore, 60040 Genga Italy
Participants not involved in the bike tour through the hills of the Lacrima di Morro d'Alba will be involved in a visit to the Frasassi Caves, one of the largest karst caves in Italy
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Tempio del Valadier, Viale Corridoni, 60040 Genga Italy
After the Frasassi Caves it is possible to visit this temple built in the rock. Really suggestive
Duration: 1 hour
