This is the perfect Rome tour for the first day of your visit, to help you orientate yourself with the city and get a nice introduction with many great photo opportunities, without too much walking! All in a group of no more than 10 people when you select the semi-private option.

On this tour you will see many of the famous Roman iconic piazzas, buildings and fountains, including the Spanish Steps, Pantheon,Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona.

Stop At: Piazza di Spagna, Rome Italy

Your personal guide to Rome will take you to the famous Piazza di Spagna and Bernini’s Barcaccia Fountain.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Trevi, 00187 Rome Italy

Continue your walk to the stunning Trevi Fountain, which is the largest baroque fountain in Rome. Legend has it that if you toss a coin over your left shoulder into the Fountain you’ll return to Rome one day.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Pantheon, Piazza della Rotonda, 00186 Rome Italy

Next, you’ll walk to the Piazza della Rotonda and admire the exterior of the historic Pantheon. Built in 27 B.C. the Pantheon was dedicated to all the Roman gods. In the 7th century, it was converted to a church dedicated to Mary and the martyrs. It is also the resting place of some major Renaissance artists, including Raffaello.

Stop At: Piazza Navona, 00186 Rome Italy

The Quirinal Palace is your next stop off, located on top of the highest of the seven hills of Rome. For over 300 years, it was used as the summer residence of the popes, before becoming the palace to the King of Italy in 1870 and after 1946, the seat of Presidents of the Republic.

From here, you’ll wander on to admire Bernini’s magnificent 4 Rivers Fountain in the center of iconic Piazza Navona. The square also features other important sculptural and architectural creations, including the Church of Sant’Agnese in Agone by Borromini, Palazzo Pamphili, the Neptune Fountain at the northern end and the Moor Fountain at the southern end.

Stop At: Piazza di Campo de' Fiori, 00186 Rome Italy

End your evening walk at Campo de’ Fiori, a site that at one time was noted for exciting races and public executions. In the center of the square you’ll see the statue of philosopher and cosmological theorist Giordano Bruno.

Today Campo de’ Fiori is a busy marketplace in the morning and a center of nightlife after the sun goes down. It’s the perfect place to continue your evening in the Eternal City after your guided tour.
