My name’s Francesca, a food blogger, cooking class chef and above all an Authentic Tuscan Food Ambassador. I was born in the hearth of Tuscany and I still live here in my family country​ home​ where my cooking classes take place. My cooking classes are pure passion and they are not just “a recipe to take home”, is a journey into private and local history, memories, proverbs & legends, something that you cannot find in a commercial class. I spent my childhood around the fire cooking with my great grand mother and growning up along with all of the flavors of all that is typically Tuscan, not wasting anything in the kitchen, respecting the seasons and making dishes with few ingredients. I am the Founder of “The12Italy” a project for saving heritage cooking handed down from generations and my wish is to share my Family recipes with all the food lovers in the world for saving great grandmothers’ teachings through the time.You’re welcome in my home,ready to show you “my Tuscany”

I am happy to welcome you in my home among olive trees & vineyards. My kitchen is big, with a spacious table, simply and fully equipped.
We will prepare 2 traditional Tuscan dishes from scratch of the area between Florence and Arezzo or tradional italian ones. Also sauces for pasta are from scratch.
Dishes vary upon the seasons following recipes of my ancestors as Pappa al pomodoro , Ribollita, Ravioli ricotta & Spinach, Pici (pasta) Aglione, Pici Cacio e Pepe, Orecchiette, Tagliatelle, Spaghetti, Bruschettas, Hunters' Stew Chicken, Amatriciana sauce, Carbonara sauce, Tiramisu, homemade Pizza.
I use fresh herbs from my garden and extravergin olive oil from the groves around my home.
After cooking, we enjoy the meal together as a family with local Chianti wine . If the weather is nice we can enjoy the food in the garden.​ You will receive my recipes in English so you can cook them again when you are back home and bring in the world my family's secrets; I have just started the blog "The12Italy" about heritage cooking. If you book quite in advance, the menu​ can be personalized.​ Vegetarians and vegans are welcome. Discounted prices for groups

• Ravioli Spinach & Ricotta from scratch - We will made the dough from scratch to make ravioli that will be filled with ricotta & Spinach and served with butter & fresh sage sauce and parmisan.
• Pici Aglione - Typical Pici pasta from scratch with extra vergin olive oil, local variety of Garlic, tomato sauce and pecorino cheese on it .
• Tiramisu from scratch - The most famous italian dessert that doesn't need presentations. I offer you the version of my family's backery.
• Pappa pomodoro - Pappa al pomodoro is a traditional Tuscan thick soup prepared with extraversion olive oil, ripe tomatoes, Tuscan bread, garlic and basil.
• Tagliatelle Ragù - Slow cooked shredded beef & pig ragu sauce, with fresh Tagliatelle from scratch - Parmisan cheese on it - Available vegetarian version
