Slight misunderstanding with chap on gate as he spoke virtually no English - first part 150 rupees each which, unbeknownst to us included second part up road... great area for bird watching along river where it is flooded during monsoon. next day went to second part - 44,000 sq.kms of dry dusty forest - heard hardly any birds and saw even fewer - quietest place been in India! River very rocky and must look amazing during monsoon. Walked about 15 kms that day - really enjoyable - saw only 4 other people on motor bikes and other than that ALONE ! Bridge to get there is DIRE - concrete slab wide enough for a lorry or bus, no handrail, nowhere for you to walk so if you are half way across and a big vehicle comes you have to stand sideways and hope for the best as it shoots past you (not slowing down of course) - river below rocky and deep... VERY scary indeed so take a rickshaw over it.
