Shore Excursion Overnight Visit from Port of Alexandria to Cairo

Enjoy a 2 day trip to Cairo as a shore excursion departure from Alexandria Port. Enjoy a guided tour that includes lunch, entrance fees, one night accommodation at a five star hotel based on bed and breakfast. Visit the complex of Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, and enjoy a visit to Egyptian Museum, and visit the oldest market in Cairo known as Khan El Khailily. On the second day you will visit the complex of Saqara to see the step pyramid and visit Memphis the oldest capital of ancient Egypt. In the afternoon return to your cruise ship in Alexandria.

Day 1:

Meet your guide and driver in Alexandria and start your 3 hour journey in an air condition car to Cairo. When you arrive in Cairo your tour will start by visiting the complex of Giza pyramids and the tombs of the old kingdom such as Cheops pyramid, which is the only one remaining of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will then see the amazing Sphinx a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren then have your lunch at the pyramids area. Then drive to the East bank of the River Nile into the heart of Cairo to visit the Egyptian museum and the collection of King Tut then dive to Khan El khailily market. Further on transfer you to your hotel in Cairo, check in and overnight.

Day 2:

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out and meeting your guide and driver. Start the day by driving to Saqara to see the step pyramid of king Zoser, then drive to Memphis and see the great statue for king Ramses II. You will then drive back to your cruise ship in Alexandria.
