Pick up from the hotel in Cairo by our English-speaking representative. Transfer by private vehicle with air conditioning for 3 hours to Alexandria, the second capital of Egypt. Visit Pompey's Pillar, which was built in honor of Emperor Diocletian in the end of the 4th century. Transfer to visit the Citadel of Qaitibay, a great defensive fortress, built in 1480 by Sultan Quaitbay. Visits to the Catacombs of Kom el Shukafa of the 1st and 2nd centuries. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit to the Library of Alexandria. In the afternoon, return to Cairo.
