Yasuni National Park 3 days 2 nights in the Amazon of Ecuadorcomfortable rooms

It is one of the destinations of greater sightings of wild fauna, and added the management of conservation by the local settlers for its originality of making a trip to the wild Amazon of Ecuador, it is an adventure that you will not forget

Itinerary

Day 1: We started at Coca Francisco de Orellana Meeting point Hotel el Auca

Stop At: Hotel El Auca, Napo, Francisco de Orellana, Ecuador
Departure from Coca at 09:00 on private transport. We will visit the Cacao Project (duration: 1 hour, approximately) where we will witness the production process, from planting, to harvest and drying, of a variety of products that are made from Ecuadorean Cocoa, which is amongst the finest in the world.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Parque Nacional Yasuni, Coca Ecuador
We will reach the shores of the Napo River to board our private canoe that will take us to the community of Indillama in the Yasuni National Park (journey time: 40 minutes), where the community will receive us with a welcome cocktail before showing us to our rooms for the duration of our stay. Each comfortable room is equipped with a private bathroom, towel, toilet paper, soap, mosquito net and balconies with hammocks for resting after walking in the jungle.

Stop At: Parque Nacional Yasuni, Coca Ecuador
After lunch we will take a three-hour walk along the Tapir Trail where we will be able to observe monkeys, birds, insects, amphibians, ants, medicinal plants, bromeliads, and everything else that the jungle has to offer. During the afternoon we will explore the Indillama River in rowboats, which will give us the opportunity to observe charapas (freshwater turtles), birds, monkeys and the dwarf caiman that inhabit the backwaters of the Yasuni National Park. Following this, we will return to the community for dinner.

Day 2: Observation tower - Parrot clay lick

Stop At: Parque Nacional Yasuni, Coca Ecuador
06H00 Breakfast, we will board our motorized canoe that will take us to the community of Añangu, Canopy Observation Tower at the Yasuni National Park, we Climb the 40 m. tall canopy tower where you can see the Amazon Rainforest in all its splendor until your eyes reach to canopy the majestic Amazon , as well as the mountains of the Andes, then we will visit the Parrot and parakeet clay licks, you can see parrots, macaws of different colors, with hopefully a gaggle of wild pig, or the collare pecare species , usually this activity is successful, although the appropriate climate influences
Duration: 6 hours

Stop At: Parque Nacional Yasuni, Coca Ecuador
During the afternoon we will visit the community centre to see cultural demonstrations, and where you will be able to buy local handicrafts made by the women of the community with seeds and other natural materials that they collect in the jungle.

At nightfall we will undertake a short walk to see some of the nocturnal inhabitants of the surrounding rainforest, before dining and resting.

Day 3: Visit Proyect Yaku Kawsay

Stop At: Parque Nacional Yasuni, Coca Ecuador
After breakfast at 07:00 we will board the canoe that will take us to the Yaku Kawsay interpretation centre, where we will be able to see life-sized representations of underwater wildlife, such as the pink dolphin, manatee, piranha, arowana (the largest fish in the Amazon Basin), and many other species, carved from balsa wood. This project is the work of the community of Nueva Providencia, designed to raise awareness amongst visitors of the need to protect the aquatic wildlife that lives in the amazon. We will also have the opportunity to contribute to the conservation of freshwater turtles by participating in the release of captive-reared turtles on a beach in the Napo River.

Stop At: Francisco de Orellana Airport, Coca, Ecuador
On the way back to Yasuni Indillama Lodge, we have lunch and then pick up our belongings and back to Coca, we will leave you at Coca Airport, it is recommended to buy your air tickets in the afternoon at the last flight schedule
