Full Day in the cloud forest near Quito

Just 2 hours away from Quito, visit one of the most bio-diverse places on earth.

The Chocó Biosphere Reserve, hike through our 5km. trail network to the Equator line at latitude 0, with unbelievable flora, fauna, waterfalls, visit our hummingbird garden for the chance to see some of the 16 species.

Or just relax at the outdoor pool and jacuzzi and enjoy a delicious local lunch!

A perfect day trip for all!

When you arrive at Kapari Natural Lodge arround 10 am. you are welcomed by the staff with a refreshing drink and you have the option to start the equator line hike through the forest with our specilized local guides who will show you the secrets of the forest, or enjoy the facilities (pool, jacuzzi, spa).

After the activities, at arround 1 pm a delicious lunch with local ingredients will be waiting for you at the restaurant (entance, main dish, dessert and soft drink). After lunch, at aroound 2: 30 pm you have the option for a second hike to the river "Río Blanco" and enjoy a waterfall along the way in which you can take a splash and know more about the ancient trails of the yumbo culture that inhabitated the area 1000 years ago. 

You will be back at the lodge at arround  5pm to start your journey back to Quito!
