Romans Pirates from Split

This tour encompasses both the Roman part of our history, as well as the glory days of the Pirates of Omiš. We will first take you for a drive along the beautiful Dalmatian coast to the ex-pirate settlement of Omiš. Once there we will take a walk around the village and learn why piracy was such an active and desired profession back in medieval times. After some free time for restrooms or photos we will embark on little boats and ride down the Cetina canyon for the next 45 minutes. We will disembark in Radman mills and learn about our village life and traditions, while enjoying a typical snack. After that we will drive you to the most beautiful spot for picture taking in Dalmatia. Our journey back takes us through the Dalmatian countryside to Split, where we will visit the unique Diocletian palace, the only Roman palace in the world which is still inhabited.
