Private Family Yacht for the whole family to learn to sail a yacht – RYA Practical Sail Training Courses choose from RYA Competent Crew, RYA Day Skipper or RYA Coastal Skipper - Depending on previous sailing experience.

The RYA Practical Courses are for beginners to professionals. Ideal for those who would like to become active crew members rather than just passengers.

Experience living on board and really get to know the boat. Virtually all the course is hands on. You are the crew – without you the sails won’t go up and the boat won’t be steered. This is very much a Practical Sail Training course.

By the end of the course you should be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy and assist in all the day to day duties on board.

Itinerary

We offer RYA Training courses for 6 day durations sailing around the Adriatic usually visiting some if not all of the following islands: Brac, Hvar, Vis, Solta.

Pick from RYA Competent Crew, RYA Day Skipper or RYA Coastal Skipper for each student depending on there previous training. See website for more details of Pre-requisites (Sea Miles, Knowledge, Prior Training).

Depending on course selected you will be taught various sailing skills upto the course level chosen.

The course is normally ran over 5 days however Yacht Sail Training Run it over 6 days to allow for a more relaxed training and a some sightseeing also along the way.

Expect time during most evenings for sightseeing around the various islands around Croatia and during the day time at sea sailing and learning all aspects of sailing and how to control a yacht under power and under sail.

Learn: Mooring techniques, Weather, Setting Sails, IRPCS Rules. Previous Knowledge required for this course - on booking please state previous knowledge obtained.
