Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to La Oveja Surf Camp

Stop At: Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport, Boulevard Aeropuerto S/N, Provincia de Guanacaste, Liberia, Costa Rica
LIR Airport shuttle can be arranged for an addtional $30 per person
SJO Airport shuttle can be arranged for an addtional $55 per person
Duration: 1 hour

Day 2: Surf Lesson - Review Basics

Stop At: Tamarindo Beach, Tamarindo Costa Rica
Surf Lesson – review surf basics such as paddling, popping up, and stance. Assessment of current surf abillity to create a custom surf lesson plan.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 3: Guachipelin Adventure Volcano Combo - Zipline, Horseback, Tubing, Hot Springs

Stop At: Rincon de La Vieja National Park, Costa Rica
Guachipelin Adventure Volcano Combo – The best all day adventure combo on Rincon de la Vieja Volcano that includes ziplining, horseback riding, river tubing, full buffet lunch, hot springs, and volcanic mud bath. – 6:30 am – 6:30 pm

Day 4: Surf Lesson - Review/Reading Waves

Stop At: Tamarindo Beach, Tamarindo Costa Rica
Surf Lesson – Improving on the basics (popping up, paddling, stance) and introduction to reading waves.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 5: Surf Lesson & Catamaran Sunset Cruise

Stop At: Tamarindo Beach, Tamarindo Costa Rica
Surf Lesson – Learning to read waves and be able to paddle into them effectively. Stance, board position and balance improved. Intro to surf etiquette and safety.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Tamarindo Beach, Tamarindo Costa Rica
Sunset Cruise – An amazing sunset cruise from Tamarindo, you’ll set sail for the afternoon on a luxury catamaran, with open bar, food, snorkeling and swimming – 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Duration: 5 hours

Day 6: Surf Trip - Playa Avellanas

Stop At: Playa Avellanas, Tamarindo Costa Rica
Surf Trip to Avellanas with Lesson and Professional Surf Photos – Check out a more intermediate surf spot in Guanacaste and put everything you’ve learned into practice on some bigger waves.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 7: Surf Lesson & ATV Tour

Stop At: Tamarindo Beach, Tamarindo Costa Rica
Surf Lesson – Practice reading waves and taking them on your own, with the support and guidance of your instructor, as well as an introdcution to turning on waves.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Playa Conchal Costa Rica
ATV Secluded Beach Tour – riding an ATV ride off-road gives you the ultimate opportunity to see the forest surrounding Tamarindo, as well as the chnace to see native wildlife such as monkeys, iguanas, and many birds. You will also see incredible views of the coastline including secluded, pristine beaches.
