4 days Tayrona Park and Minca

On this wonderful 4 days in the Caribbean you’ll enjoy a trip into the mountains and a tour of Minca, a coffee farm, a cocoa farm, beautiful waterfalls, Tayrona Park and Your Choice of either a boat ride to Playa Cristal or an ecological walk to Cabo San Juan, passing through tropical jungle and beaches along the way. Regardless of which choice you pick you will enjoy some fantastic beach time.

Itinerary

Day 1: Santa Marta, Colombia - Free Day - Arrival Day

Stop At: Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
Arrive at a time of your chosen and be collected from the airport and taken to your accommodation in Santa Marta to check-in. At which time you will have the rest of the day to explore or if you come early enough we can organize an additional tour for you.

Day 2: Tayrona Park and Cabo San Juan

Stop At: Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, Santa Marta 470007 Colombia
You'll be collected from your hotel and make your way to the Tayrona National Park for a two-hour ecological jungle walk — plus a visit to four beaches! You will learn about this pristine natural environment, the indigenous people, and the fauna (including caimans, similar to alligators) on your trip here. The park is closed for a month every year, and you’ll be able to find out what activities the indigenous people do during this time.

Then, hit the beautiful beaches for a fun time! Visit the Arenillas, La Piscina, Los Arrecifes, and Cabo San Juan beaches. At Cabo San Juan, enjoy yourself for three hours on the shore or in the beautiful Caribbean waters. You can go snorkeling or just laze on the beach! Afterward, return to your vehicle after a long walk through the lush jungle.

Day 3: Minca Tour

Stop At: MINCA, Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
You’ll be collected from your accommodation Santa Marta accommodation and taken into the magical mountains of the Sierra Nevarda and to the beautiful town of Minca. Once here you’ll be taken on a tour of this wonderful town, along with checking out a coffee farm, a cocoa farm, enjoying an ecological walk, some beautiful waterfalls, a swim if you desire and a stop for lunch in a house made of Bamboo.
Duration: 8 hours

Day 4: Santa Marta - Free day

Stop At: Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia
Day Four is all yours and completely up to you. Your transport will be waiting to take you to the airport for the next part of your Colombian adventure, or if you have arranged for another night or more accommodation to explore more of the Sierra Nevada De Santa Marta (highly recommended and can be organised with us after booking), your transport will be waiting for another day.
