4-day Lhasa city tour will take you to explore the highlights of Lhasa, the holy city on Tibet Plateau. Itinerary

Day 1: Chengdu flight to Lhasa, Lhasa airport pick up to hotel (D)

Pass By: Lhasa, Lhasa, Tibet
Today, you will go to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport 2 hours in advance for checking in.

(We will deliver your original Tibet Travel Permit to your hotel in Chengdu)

Upon your arrival in Lhasa, tour guide will meet you and escort you at the Lhasa Gonggar Airport and then escort you to your hotel in Lhasa. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to have a good rest and acclimatize yourself to the high altitude at Tibet. Get prepared for your tour in Lhasa.

Day 2: Lhasa (B,L,D)

Stop At: Drepung Monastery (Zhebang Si), Southern Slope of Genpeiwuzi Mountain, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
After breakfast in your hotel, you will be picked up to visit Drepung Monastery, one of the "Great Three" Gelug monasteries of Tibet.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Sera Monastery, Wuze Hill , Sera Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
In the afternoon, you will head to visit Sera Monastery, another one of the "Great Three" Gelug monasteries in Tibet that founded in 1419 by Jamchen Chojey, to see the famous scriptures debating in this monastery.

Tonight, a special dinner with local Tibetan show will be arranged.

After breakfast in your hotel, your personal private tour guide will pick you up to visit the splendid Potala Palace, the cardinal landmark in Lhasa. The whole morning is for you to appreciate this world-level architectural work.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
n the afternoon, you will visit the Johkang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibet. Tibetan people from all over the world come here to kowtow in the front of the entrance with their pure heart.

Finally, you can spend some time walking on around the Jokhang Temple at Barkhor Street where is full of religious atmosphere.
