Itinerary

Day 1: Beijing Capital International Airport or Railway Station Pick-up, Mutianyu Great Wall (Lunch)

Stop At: Beijing, Beijing
1. Pick up from the Beijing Capital International Airport or Railway Stationin the morning, and then drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall (60 miles away from downtown about one hour driving) Mutianyu Section section.

2. Before having lunch (12:00), travelers have 45 minutes to have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is very famous special local product, it was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving.

3. Have traditional Chinese lunch at restaurant.

4. Visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. Cable car is a good choice if one wants to get to the highest point and take the whole beautiful bird view.

5. On the way back to the hotel, you will Go to Olympic site and have a short exterior visit to "the Birds Nest, Water Cube" ---the main Olympic Stadium now being built for the 2008 Olympic Games.

6. Back to your hotel.

Day 2: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven & drop off Capital International Airport or Railway Station. (Lunch)

Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
1. Pick up from your hotel at 8:00 am. Visit to the world largest square -Tiananmen Square. It will take about half hour to go around it. And then walk directly into the Forbidden City.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
2. Then move on to the largest Imperial Palace in the world-the Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming & Qing dynasty lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours.

3. After lunch, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture and as well as a short rest.

4. Then drive (30 minutes) to the Temple of Heaven, the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world dedicated to rituals that pay homage to the glory of heaven. Visit it for 2 hour. The Temple of Heaven is located in southern Beijing. It is included in the UNESCO world heritage list in 1998. With an area of 2.7 million square meters, it is the largest of its kind in the country. Built in 1420, the 18th year of the reign of Ming Emperor Yongle, the temple was where emperors went to worship heaven for good harvests.
