Uncover the holy city of Lhasa in just 4 days with a Tibetan guide.  Explore the sacred temples, and ancient palaces, walk the pilgrimage route with the locals, watch monks chanting in the monasteries, and witness the Tantric debate performed in the temples. Day 01:  Arrive to Lhasa airport, meet your guide & Transfer to hotel in Lhasa.  Today you’ll need to adjust to the local altitude and get acclimated. 

Day 02: Morning around 9am pick up you from your hotel, and go to the

market, by the heart of the old town of Lhasa, visit

Jokhang

Temple, which is Tibet’s most sacred shrine, the focal point of pilgrims from the entire Tibetan plateau. After lunch time we drive north of the city about 10 minutes to

Sera

Monastery, located at the base of Mt. Purbuchok, which forms part of the watershed between the kyi-chu and the penpo-chu rivers, the Monastery is found in 1419, in here you can watch the Tantric debates performed by the Sera monks. After the visit around 5pm, we will send you back to your hotel.

Day 03: Morning around 9am pick up you from your hotel, we will head to the center of the city and visit

Potala

Palace, the 13-storeyed edifice was among the world’s tallest buildings prior to the advent of the 20th century skyscraper, and the grandest building in Tibet. In terms of global perception, it is this relic of Tibet’s past, present, and future national aspirations, more than any other, which uniquely symbolizes Tibet, like the Great Wall in China or the Vatican in Italy. If time permits you can walk the Kora by the palace with the local pilgrims in 30 minutes. Then we’ll drive about 20 minutes to

Drepung

Monastery, located 8 kilometers northwest of Lhasa, founded in 1416, it was later to become an important center of political power in Tibet. Then we’ll visit

Norbulingka

Summer

Palace, the site was developed as the Summer Palace of the Dalai Lamas, from the mid-18th century, when Dalai Lama VII selected it on account of a medicinal spring where he would bathe owing to his frail disposition. After the visit around 5pm, we will send you back to your hotel.
